Something is a bit off today. I wonder if they’re my hyper hormones…
Things are steady in the homefront. Just some odds and ends that need to be sorted through, but basically it all comes together on D-day, so it’s nothing to sweat today.
=====
Update: We’ll be coming up with a major production next year. Really appreciating this calm, before the craziness that is February and July.

Taong-Office… For Now
How nice it must be to be self-employed. Being the prime mover of one’s empire. Ultimate flexibility and accountability. The potential to earn more than what I am earning now.
If only I can work from home, I would be able to work-out in the mornings, go through my to-dos till lunch time, take a breather till 2, attend to meetings and busywork till 4pm, then hear mass at St. Pio’s Chapel. Hey, there you have it: my ideal day.
There are 2 things blocking (delaying) this idyllic situation.
My parents are (still) both very business-minded which sometimes make me very uneasy. Growing up, every instance was a business opportunity. Overrun Spideyman costumes were sold. Imported pasalubong (or so I thought) were peddled in our Broadway estantes. Scrap paper, wood and metal were literally big bucks.
If business is actually building relationships through products, then my parents had many friends. These same friends also became bitter foes, which sometimes ended in lawsuits. This is one reason why I am still apprehensive to enter business.
Another hindrance is that I still don’t know what product or service to offer.
What should someone like me produce or present? Hmmm… These are such materialistic thoughts at the start of the week but are fuel to what I have been ruminating for weeks already.
I want a new car.
