Well, Happy New Year!!!
I know I have been out of commission these past few weeks and that the greeting is more than a week delayed… but what the hey. It is still the new year and hope still runs high – in my heart and mind.
The last quarter has been bumpy so I’m just glad that 2008’s done and gone.
It has been rough especially last month -- a fire scare, a miscarriage (not mine!), sickness. I tell you, it wasn't easy. I am still reeling from the happenings, both bad and good. And there were good times too last month, like seeing my cousin win a pageant, connecting with friends and being with my family. There are still a lot of blessings to be thankful for.
I am hopeful for the surprises and adventures that 2009 will bring. Game!
