Twilight Zone

I had a hard time convincing my sisters to watch the Manhattan Transfer with me. With the Black Eyed Peas and Pussycat Dolls concerts coming up, the MT seemed so jurassic and therefore uncool to them.

Vince called me one afternoon to invite me, actually to ask if I would like to buy a ticket (P2500! more than my usual ticket range) to the Manhattan Transfer Concert. I was thrilled! Now I can watch the concert with someone who appreciates this music!

And you know what else is kinda from the twilight zone? I was to watch it with Eula Valdez! Zsazsa Zsaturnnah showbiz celebrity!

Aside from the familiar musical strains (Shakers Song! Smile Again! The Boy from New York! Smile Again! and Twilight Zone!), there was the added novelty of a well-known personality with our group of 5.

Eula (yup, we're close --- she asked me for suggested over-the-counter sleeping pills as she couldnt sleep due to intense teeth-bleaching-laser pain) was very nice and down to earth. Really likeable and kinda goofy and real. I wonder if she's like that in her showbiz world coz if she is, then she's kinda fodder for the media vultures around her. I guess not, then.
