Halfway through Monday. Not bad but hope the day gets by soon. I was not able to really rest and lounge during the weekend as I went to Pampanga (of all places) to join the office outing and Sunday was practically spent inside the salon for an imperfect semi-rebonding session.
Saturday we went to Leo's Leisure Park to do the outdoorsy stuff that could otherwise be done in Manila. We played badminton for one hour (15 minutes each), went horseback-riding, fishing, lounged, read, shopped at the duty-free supermarket and ate. Although I would have wanted to stay at home that day, it was good for me to go on this trip as I got to see the different personalities of my officemates au naturel. Now I know who would be most likely to spout out at the least provocation, who will be the person last to leave the table because he's still stuffing his face, and who is the most agreeable traveling companion. So educational, that trip. However, I am not so sure if bonding ever really took place then. Would have been better for me had I not been worrying over my car which I parked at a usual towing area. (It was a relief it was still safely nestled right in front of the towing area sign:) )
Aside from the 4-hour ordeal at the parlor (I almost got burnt twice! mainit!)the back part of my hair still flips outward! So much for taming the tresses. I hope I can still have the parlor fix it up. For P2000, they should ---they're expected to deliver optimum service!
Anyhoo, mommy also picked to bring us to dinner last night. It was a spur of the moment thing. So unexpected that we weren't able to plan for the activity --- again. Needless to say, we were all our usual grumpy selves. Still, I was grateful for the chance to eat something different, although a bit salty, at The Old Spaghetti House. Plus, it was an advance celebration for my mom's birthday so she decided to treat us all out. If we don't have work on may 2, we'll treat her out to Tagaytay as well. I don't know if that will be kind to my wallet since the invitation list is getting longer... but again, that would be nice.
Hmmmm... so tis almost the end of day... arrivadeary!
A friend may be in a belligerent mood, dear Pisces, and could pick a quarrel with you over something that really doesn't matter. You're not the confrontational type, so you'll probably want to either short-circuit the matter or walk away. If someone tries to put you on the defensive, don't take the bait. Just apologize. And if that doesn't work, say goodbye and walk away. You don't need to put up with this.
