Preparing to Go Offline

Today's a Friday. Yipppeee! I'm so looking forward to this long weekend. I wish I could've gotten away this week to Puerto Galera or where there's sun and sand. But no worries. Am off to Boracay in less than 2 weeks!

There are many things to do this weekend. Although I'm supposed to save up (save? what is that?!) for the rainy days or some kind or other, I am tempted to throw caution again (and again) to the wind and bring on my plastic money to get me some stuff on sale!!!!

Megamall has a big 3-day sale this weekend and all I can think about is, "what else should I be getting?"

My shopping list:
1. Kikay stuff (The Body Shop Cheek & Lip tint, Revlon or some other reliable brand Powder Foundation)
2. Stuff for my room (organizers for my toiletries, closet organizers, additional boxes for my pictures and other stuff, white linen/ cotten sheets, area rug(s), new lightbulb(s), a comfy chair)
3. Shoes (my legs are getting numb already....I seriously have to switch to more walk-friendly shoes)

That is all that I could think of from Megamall, but offhand, I still have to get these things:
1. Airplane and boat tickets to Boracay -- add accommodations and that's like P5,000 ++!
2. Pay up for my other bills --- need to cough up cash for my mini-ipod and phone subscription.
3. Stuff for my mom's birthday --- we plan to hold a picnic in Tagaytay on Monday.

Aside from those, my other list includes:
1. Nihongo lessons/ classes
2. Dance lessons
3. Voice lessons
4. IPL or other derma treatment for my skin
5. braces
6. Moolah to take me to Bangkok!

Kill me with commercialism. All I can think about is how to spend, spend, spend! My dad would certainly launch into sermon mode again if he ever learned of my plans to clean out my savings account.

It could really get out of hand, literally. Like yesterday, I withdrew P5,000 and now how much do I have in my wallet? A measly P20. Bulk of the money went to credit card payments but what was unexpected was the cost of antibiotics.

My gosh, my skin is so pasaway! I have two big pea-sized pimples! On a Friday, that's disastrous. So I got antibiotics and now.... I'm almost out of cash. Story of my life.

Although am taking the antibiotics, the pimples haven't disappeared (yet) and am feeling a bit groggy. I would prefer staying home and lounging (again) to going out because am not in gimik mode tonight, what with the pimples acting up and all. Sigh. A couple of days ago, I was raring to paint the town multicolor....

But am bound to go out tonight. Dodoy is leaving for Japan anytime and may not return for a year or what and he's invited us to dinner at North Park tonight. And then after that, Ces would like to go for drinks. What's a social girl to do? Especially when her skin's not cooperating?
